BIOGRAPHY
Črtomir Šiškovič
Born in Trieste, studied at “Glasbena Matica” in Trieste and graduated with full marks at the “G.Tartini” Conservatory of Trieste.

He received further education from I. Ozim and the Amadeus-Quartet at the Musikhochschule in Köln, where he achieved a diploma with full marks and special mention. Afterwards he made a specialization with F. Gulli and the Borodin-Quartet at Indiana University in Bloomington, Max Rostal in Klagenfurt and Viktor Pikaizen in Switzerland.

CHAMBER MUSIC – he is performing in various groups as duo, trio, quartet, sextet with musicians like Franco Gulli, Konstantin Bogino, Michael Flaksman, Irena Grafenauer, Maria Graf, Igor Lazko, Davide Formisano, Radovan Vlatković.

SOLO VIOLIN – he is playing as soloist with prestigious orchestras (St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Budapest Chamber Orchestra, Slovene Philharmonic, Rheinische Philharmonie, Symphonic Orchestra “A.Toscanini”, Cappella Istropolitana, Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra, Filarmonica Marchigiana, Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo etc.) and under direction of : H. Soudant, F. Luisi, F. Brüggen, I. Domarkas, U. Lajovic, A. Nanut, M. Bamert, M. Tabachnik, G. Kuhn, L. Shambadal, L. Arnič, S. Tsutsumi and in famous concert-halls: Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, Philharmonic hall of St. Petersburg, Beaux Arts of Brussels, Centre IRCAM of Paris, Philharmonic hall of Berlin, Gewandhaus of Leipzig, Rudolfinum of Prague, The Ongaku No Tomo hall of Tokyo, Grand Theatre of Shanghai, Lingotto hall of Torino and Conservatory hall “G.Verdi” of Milano, Gran Ship Theatre of Shizuoka etc..

Tours in Europe, USA, Japan, China and Mongolia.

He recorded for Italian RAI, RTV Ljubljana, Zagreb and Beograd, the Suisse Romande in Genève, National Spanish Radio, Deutschlandfunk in Köln, RTV Moscow and St. Petersburg, Hungarian Radio, TV of China and Japan.

He also recorded CD’s (among others all solo Sonatas by G.Tartini) for Italian, German, Slovenian, Serbian and Russian recordings companies: STRADIVARIUS, RIVO ALTO, DA CAMERA, KUTLU, MELODIA, RTV BEOGRAD, RTV LJUBLJANA.
